Let's build something great.
Fedha
A mobile-first personal finance and budgeting app with automatic M-Pesa transaction sync, multi-currency, and expense analytics. 540 registered users, freemium model, 8 months in production.
The idea came from checking my M-Pesa statement at the end of the month and having no idea where the money went. I built Fedha as a side project to fix this for myself — it parses M-Pesa SMS messages and builds a full financial picture automatically. The freemium model has organic growth without any paid marketing. Selling because I want to focus on the Muvevi OS full-time.
It pairs this with budgeting tools, savings goals, and a clean analytics dashboard — all built mobile-first for the Kenyan market, with a companion web app for desktop access.
The freemium model has attracted 540 registered users in 8 months with 12 converting to a paid plan. The codebase is structured for easy addition of bank integrations (Equity, KCB) and has space to expand across East Africa.
